Welcome's Remote Cottage

Welcome Lodge now has a new cottage to share. It is a mile north of Welcome Lodge and you can drive to it through our property. The cottage has 300' of shoreline privacy. We have kept the natural wooded setting. This provides privacy and you cannot see any other cottages. There is also a sheltered harbor for the dock and your boat, as well as a neat swimming rock.

The cottage is a quaint brown log sided cottage of 700 square feet with a screened in porch and a large deck. We have totally renovated the interior in White Pine. The cathedral ceiling is beautiful and tweaks the imagination. The cottage has two bedrooms, a four piece bathroom, full kitchen, a large living room, two ceiling fans and all the amenities found in our other cottages.

There are many wild jewels inhabiting the woods. If you wish to know more about the birds, just ask Angela. Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Osprey and the Loons are always around to grace the lake. The shoreline is solid rock outcrops, which is especially nice to sit on and enjoy the misty mornings at daybreak and to soak in the magical sunsets.
